“Rod $immon$ was born Feb 1st, 1984 in Atlanta,Ga. And grew up in Atlanta’s northside Buckhead/Emory/Jewtown neighborhood. Where he began Skateboarding at the age 5, and got his first pro-skate deal at 14 with Maple Skateboards. His musical influnce came from Micheal Jackson, He says “Micheal Jackson paved the way for every artist! My sound comes from MJ,and he gave us the formula to make great albums, and without him it would not be Pop Music!!!!” His hiphop influences came from, A Tribe Called Quest and RUN DMC. In 2005 Rod created Christmas Cash,which is his Highend clothing label and Sk8team. Also that same year he created “Gully Records” which is a label that was formed as not only a record label but a movement. Rod Simmons is one of few artist that writes, produces and perform their own material. His debut album “ROD IN 3D” is planned to Feb 1st,2010. Which is a mixture of Old School Hip Hop and 80’s POP!”

Residing in ATL via Germany, but of Panamanian descent, she’s a producer, dancer, singer, songwriter, designer, activist, and CEO – and she’s getting noticed. People like Santogold and Trouble have taken notice of her work and collaborations are rumored to be in the mix. Seriously, watch out for this woman, because she’s comin though whether you like it or not.
